100 lb Mackerel

Laying on the bottom at 50 ft the sun had just gone down when i looked up to see this fish swim by. 15 minutes later and i had my hands on the biggest Mackerel any of us has ever seen. I've been on a small island in Fiji for the past 10 days spearing some amazing fish in the middle of nowhere but this is one worth showing everyone.

The fish was 63 inches long and had a girth of 36 inches. (due to the 10 lb tuna in his belly) using the weight = length x girth x girth / 800 method that makes him 102 lbs. The current world Record for Spanish Mackerel is 92. Should have had him weighed properly but it is a 2 hour boat ride to anywhere from where we were staying and our place didn't even have power but for 3 hours a night when the generator was running. Fish of a Lifetime.
Cameron
Remember i am 6'3" so this fish is massive
