Look what I just got

I just got back from Oxnard with my brand new purchase. 1992 32 ft. Radon. It is set up for 6 pack fishing, but has many ammenities that would suit a spearfisherman just fine. It has a huge fishhold, 3 bunks up forward, bait tank, dry storage, and the fishhold can be converted to a hot tub. I will be using it as a commercial boat most of the year, but I will also be doing 6 pack H&L charters and 4 person spearfishing trips with it the rest of the year. I would have brought it home tomorrow, but I still have the boat down in SD to run for a few more trips. It is knid of scary knowing that I will really have to earn my paycheck now, instead of someone giving it to me every 2 weeks.

I will be bringing it home to Oceanside on Monday. We will be fishing it on the way down hoping to get some of the YFT that are still around. Anyway, just thought I would share my new business.

It has twin Mercruiser V-8s, 454s. I will be doing the engine exchange program when I get the chance and go with twin diesels. But gas will have to do for now.

Wow, gasoline inboards??

I'd change to diesels right away. Other than that, the boat is sweet. Good for long range fishing trips.

I think you need a slightly bigger winless.

Congrats on the Radon. One of my favorite boat builders for sure.

Re: Look what I just got

Awesome boat! Congrats. Dont rush into diesel conversion, considering the repower cost it will take a LOOOONG time to break even with savings. Keeping the name "PROFISHENT"?
