Jax Ginny Pig

Who will tell me if I fish or dive on Sunday. Northeast Florida boys owe me at least one. Who is going Friday or Saturday. Any reports would be appreciated for a worn out ginny pig.

Re: Jax Ginny Pig

All I have is second hand info so take it for what its worth. One of my commercial buddies went out Tuesday and said 0' vis inshore with a 12' ground swell. Smooth but big. The swell is now gone but we all know what a swell that big does to vis. The full moon tide is pushing black water almost 20 miles out of the river and trust me the river is black from all the high water up north (Fay rains) and the minor flooding runoff. I spoke with the other dive charter captains in town this morning and all have made a decision not to try this weekend. We're tired of giving peoples money back. Once again, second hand info and we all know how fast it can change. I just cant take the chance with paying customers AGAIN so I will stay tied to the dock another weekend.
I hope somebody proves me wrong but I hope this helps for now. On the good side, I hear the snapper are biting pretty good inshore. Go fishing.
