i was in the market for sometime wanting to buy a new bigger gun everything looked good to me i knew i wanted a euro gun but i no idea what kind be it an omer or hammerhead or whatever the hell there are so many different guys out there making guns these days with so many different terms and phrases and names its alot to keep up with. so i asked spearboard for help. i posted asking for gun advice regarding the omers and the hammerheads. i got a PM that night from this dude rob who apparently was out of rhode island he told me he sells spearguns and that hed be happy to help me find which gun was right for me even if it wasnt one of his. turns out that rob is a dealer for aimrite, pelaj and spetton under the name of newport freedive company. rob spent hours on the phone with me answering every question to the finest detail and making sure i was getting what i wanted. on monday i mailed rob the check and on friday i had my gun. if any of you ever have the pleasure of buying or selling with rob make the most of it he is a stand up guy a real gentlemen who feels the same passion for the sport as i do and thats says something i bleed spearfishing. rob i cannot thank you enough my man. just thought id share.

Apneadreams you are 100% right about Rob Marvelle and his wife Jodi, they are good people and sincerely passionate about this sport. Their character is impeccable and their integrity above reproach. If you ever do meet them, you will see what I mean. You won't go wrong doing business with them.

I can't agree any more, Rob is a great guy, maybe you can set aside some time for his charity tournament next year(in Sept.), this way you can meet him and his family and attend, what I and may of the spearo's up here consider to be the best tournament every year in the north east, the Hanna Grace spearfishing tournament. I promise you will have a great time.
