Its Like I was BORN for this Lobster Hunting Thang!!

Check out the new addition! Thats the first time I've seen that devilish grin, he's gonna be a hell of a bug hunter!

So I am pretty much all about the lobsters, not having much time for the spearfishing and having even less time now for obvious reasons! Gotta get em' started young though! Hopefully I can make it out again this year with some of you guys (much props to Joe, John, and Miguel). I had a blast last year and will bring the gas money and vitamin whatever or whatever is requested. I think I still owe you gas money from last years Catalina trip Joe, I'm good for it though and feel terrible I didn't make it out again last year, I swear ! If you guys ever need a boat ho just send me a PM or email and I hope you guys are doing well!

Nice looking kid, everyone take note, he's proud of his catch but he has class, and doesn't extend his arms to give the "grouper effect".

Thats cool that your little one is into the ocean hunt. My little girl took a crab and bug sandwich, with an antenna as a toothpick/skewer to school and had the coolest lunch ever.

Congrats on the offspring

Daniel,
I wouldn't have guessed you were that far along, you hardly look prego at all!!
Just kidding, Im a porker myself.
Take some Lamaze classes with your wife, it will help with having a safer (less drugs for the mom and newborn) birth, and you'll find the breathing exercises helpful in lowering your heart rate before diving.

Bumpnjump, be sure you get a proper dose of anesthesia before you procedure,
I was under dosed for mine and it was an experience I'll not soon forget...

Re: Its Like I was BORN for this Lobster Hunting Thang!!

We didn't overthink it and just took a 1 day class. She got the Epidural at about 5 cm and it took some time but worked out OK. I have multiple friends that ready every book in the library about natural birth then either gave up because of the pain or ended up with a C section anyway cause the baby was sunny-side up. Its a total roll of the dice with how things will progress and as they say "better living through chemistry". If she can do it natural then thats cool but don't be mad if it doesn't work out!

Re: Its Like I was BORN for this Lobster Hunting Thang!!

Shoot I was born slightly premature and several months after the Chernobyl Disaster. So I spent some time in an incubator. Turned out fine in the end... Plus an added bonus. I can move things with my mind! Comes in handy during lobster season.

My mom told me they were actually terminating pregnancies at the time. Because there was risk of developmental problems due to the nuclear fallout. The terminations were done to babies at a certain point of the development. I guess I barely made the cut. Yay, I survived potentially being murdered.
