South Laguna Quicky Report
Swells ~2ft; Pretty Surgey; Viz 5-15; Surf 1-1.5
No halis sighted; Decent number of sandies/calis around. I heard that distinct croaking that gets every spearo excited partway through the day and later saw something big, long and tasty-looking pass under me as I was breathing up. Out of range though, s***! Last edited by Dave Nelson; 01-07-2009 at 04:42 PM. Reason: Left out surf |

Re: South Laguna Quicky Report
I'm getting in the water tomorrow at 6am at a spot where I saw daytime bugs last week if you're down. I'll text you when I get up in case you're crazy enough to get up that early too.

Re: South Laguna Quicky Report
"The Spotfin Croaker is reported to reach 28 inches in length but 16 to 18-inch models are more common."................
http://www.mexfish.com/fish/sptcrok/sptcrok.htm That definitely wasn't what I saw. It was loooong. |
