Chuck-it-All Tales!!!

Sadie, Amazz, Chuck-it-All, (ears)Johnoly and myself hit it today. Good current at the 90' ledge. Water 73*. Nice viz except for a bounce at Blowing Rocks.
Ang was shooting with Chuck at the wreck treck, what are cameras for anyway! No shots taken, by spear that is. Fish were abundant.
John and I drop on the 90 foot ledge up north. Never saw John after I hit the bottom, he had ear issues, but I passed him.
I'm greeted by another big bull with two nice cobes in tow. He saw me first, he was 20 feet away when I saw him. With no John around I was reluctant to even think about some open-water heroics. PASS PLEASE!
Nothing for 20-minutes when I hit this large cove teeming with every fish in the ocean, including a 40-lb. gag. He wasn't impressed enough that I found him, so he swam with me for a couple minutes, but never closer than 20 feet.
Even stopped. So I made a pointless move and off he goes.
Five minutres later I spy another large bull with three 4-foot cobes. Forgetting that I had left my sheild on, after floating up two mutts and a hog, I want the shot. But they move around me. No shot. Shark shield? Maybe.
Ang, Chuck and I finish the day at tunnels. A great time there. Flushed out three reefies from the dounut, and then a gag speeds in and out. He actually came in off the sand and threw me a move, a zig-zag, that saved his life.
Humanitarian award goes to Chuck for unhooking a morey from the boat above us.

Nice cooler of Muttons.... Probably smart passing on the cobes with no buddy. The sharks have been ridiculous lately.

Re: Chuck-it-All Tales!!!

Still looks like a great cooler of fish, even without the gags and cobes.

Can't wait to hear Chuck's story of how he was handling the eel.

Re: Chuck-it-All Tales!!!

Nice Muttons. Sounds like a great day on the water.

I had just finished stringing up a Mutton today and a Bull was staring right at me...and not where I would normally expect a Bull to be??? I decided to give him a quick elevator ride up (the Mutton, not the Bull).

Hope Amazz got some good shots too.

Re: Chuck-it-All Tales!!!

The sharks are not behaving well. Let's be careful out there. Chuck it All passed by and, fish or no fish ,they were laughing and having a good time. Thanks for the tip on the Donut. We went back and picked up 3 Gags there. Nice Muttons. I have a hard time hitting them.

That's funny RJ.
A 16" alpha-looking hog with 16"+ -18" muttons. Sandwiches today for the race.
