I heard rumor that Mexico is going to have new regulation that would limit to single band spearguns. Anyone can confirm this?

I would be pissed. I got about 4 grand invested in Mex guns, and not one is a single band gun.

Once you get your bands loaded just put a piece of ductape around them to make it one band.

if they are talking about it and are serious then we should expect it to be a law in about 10 years.

Think very long gun.....Very heavy band.That should solve that!Bear mace works too,and there is alot in that can ,enough to stop a grizzly!

The existing Mex spearfishing regulations state "...con una banda elastica..."

We had postulated that the intention was not to limit the numbers of bands to one only, but to imply no pneumatics.
In the past, our excuse in Mex was, the rest of the bands are spares, just in case one breaks.
