The group

This is the rest of the victims taken off Fort Lauderdale. This is my dad and my brother-in-law. They also went diving, but decided to make some films underwater. I went for the fun stuff, serious spearfishing!!

Where were you to hit that in 6-7' of water?

Incidentally, I've shore dove over there, but never really seen anything worth shooting. Anyone have luck off of a shore dive?

Believe it!

Like I said, "Believe it!!" I couldn't believe that a hog this size would be right in front of me. I've seen them before, but couldn't approach them less than 12 ft. The vis was horrible that weekend, so I'm guessing it didn't spot me 'til it was already in the bag. Well, I still haven't eaten any of the fish, yet.

i spear in the keys and my favorite spot is a 15 foot deep cut about 15 feet wide with a rock wall on each side. on the outside of the cut the water is less than 4 feet deep and i have killed numerous hogs there while surfacing from scanning for blacks. the shallowest i ever killed a hog was in 3 feet right off a flat

Good going, man. Looks like a good day on the water. Yeah, that's a shallow water hog.

While lobstering in 18' in the keys, I stabbed a hog with a tickle stick once.

*with thick cuban assent*

Did you say, "Hey Mr. Hog, you want some Sobe Green Tea?" And he says, "I only drink if you drink." Then all of the a sudden, there you are, drinking Sobe Green Tea with the 16 pound hog, 180 yards off a the beach in Bradenton. And you feel pretty good

Hogs

Believe it or not some of the biggest hogs are taken closer to shore in shallow water. Just three weeks ago I shot a 8 lb hog in about 10 ft.
