New Yak
I got a killer deal on an almost new Prowler Trident 15. Found a guy who was running a Kayak rental place and he had one which he had been renting for about 6 months over the winter. It looks like it was in the water about three times the handles still had the factory plastic wrap on them. Couple of very light scratches other than that it was pristine. Got it for $665.00 with a seat.
He said it was not as stable as he hoped it would be, It looked like all he realy rented was tandems.

Re: New Yak
That's a HUGE deal! Go down to your local police department and file a larceny report!

Re: New Yak
I know it was a screaming deal, I have had it for over a week and have not had a chance to take it out for a test run.

Re: New Yak
Ocean Kayak has dropped that boat from production for next year, so all the dealers have unloaded their inventory, or are trying to. They replaced it with the 13' Trident and the reintroduced Scupper Pro (it's back!) Prower 15 is an awesome boat. I got one from an old guy in Flordia where I live, six months ago, with a factory rudder, and two Thule J-rack sets, for $650. Boat had been used twice. No scratches. It was too heavy for him to car top. I know - I should be arrrested. BTDT, not fun. Will in Sarasota

Re: New Yak
Well I have had it on top of my truck for the last five days and still have not gotten it in the water.
