It was in the very same article you posted .... he didn't say he was adamantly opposed to arming crews at large, but rather a select few who have been trained.

Well actually, he said he didn't think arming crews was the answer, but "if we go forward" with that, then it should be a select few.

But lets get the article up here so you'll be forced to discuss what it says rather than bitching about my title. That might actually force you into some intellectual honesty, but then maybe not.

I read it... and he is largely right and I AGREE ( FOR THE FINAL TIME) with him.


Course he , in hindsight, is an easy judge as he was able to be saved by the greatness of the US military .

What about the next vessel and crew sailing under a US penant. They might have a different view.

I mean .hell, my perfect home defense scenario would involve a 24 hr shift of deputies staioned around my property in a perimeter . But in lieu of that ....

A better paraphrase would be "its not the best solution, but if we are going to do it anyway."

this would still leave you vulnerable to a subterrainean attack or an air assault...you can't be too careful aaron..you need at least a SAM site and some seismic sensors too
