merricker state park 5-7

went out at 430 pm stayed in till dark. troll s side of cove till it was about 25 ft.. then scouted for ling while limiting out on 10 in abs.. my croatian friend and i both shot a nice ling. i will post pics later. vis was 10-18 it definitly got better further out and below 15 feet. better try the north side of the cove next time.. seems you must go pretty far out to get 40 ft or deeper so maybe yak or board but then its not like there is a whole lot of kelp to ditch/anchor. ok maybe some kelp but not real thick on the surface.more later
