Omer T20 trigger mechanism
Hey guys
I need to repair this Omer. I am not familiar with speargun triggers, so my question is does the trigger come out, or do you replace the rear handle trigger mechanism in its entirety? Any one do this before? |

Re: Omer T20 trigger mechanism
KEVIN< STOP PLAYING WITH THAT GUN! Take the muzzle off and use the rest to club baby seals with.
Rob has an Amirite 90 and also 100. If it ever breaks send, it back for repairs under their waranty...I think your Omer warranty was voided several times over ;-) You are in teh water so much and you need a reliable gun. Not a "Yankee gat" PS Going to a secret spot !!!

Re: Omer T20 trigger mechanism
OMER Sells the t-20 trigger mechanism.
part number R6670 and while you are at it, replace the line release with a stainless steel one part number 0001. Wait until you get the parts and then take pics while you disasemble it, it will help you to put it back in case yopu get lost. its no big deal. Normally, I just replace the complete handle. I like the t-20s |

Re: Omer T20 trigger mechanism
Kevin,
What's the problem? T-20's are great mechanisms and usually very reliable. Give me a call. The line release upgrade is a great idea. Joe

Re: Omer T20 trigger mechanism
Thanks guys, I like this gun very much!! I just took it apart the spring was sprung. I am going to look at the line release up grade as well. I ordered some springs that might work. The trigger assembly was not that hard to figure out. I think I can repair this. I will be in touch though.
Joe you up for some spearfishing soon? Thanks for the response everyone. Kevin |
