lost gun, please help

I dove yesterday afternoon. I was seperated from my gun. It is a No Ka Oi with a riffe reel. It is tied in the kelp and the gun is floating on the top! Look for yellow shooting line. I have worked for my equipment, and I really appreciate any help finding my gun. Im 17, and need my baby back. I will be searching for it, but if you run across it cut the line and just grab the gun unless you can dive pretty deep.(or stick a buoy on it that I will pay you for)

Location:NW Corner of LJ Kelp. Directly Out from North Marine St.

Please call with any tips/info.

Pull up google maps and make a mark on where you think it is and post up.

I found my buddy's shaft and slip tip on the bottom outside LJ kelp last week.

Apparently I have good spear recovery techniques so get my a general idea of where it is.

How big was the WSB?

Were you on the outside or inner kelp?

outside of the kelp at high tide, so the gun was pulled under. No float line, just bright yellow spectra spooled off my reel.
