Neptunes Blue water meet
How many of the guys on this board are going to attend the
Long Beach Neptune's Blue water meet? It is on June 5Th. How many of you have ever placed in the past? If you placed, what kind and size of fish did you do it with? Thanks for any info,

Do you mean attend or participate in? I thought it was invite only to compete. Maybe they've opened up a bit more.

I was there last year, and i will be there this year as well.
It's a great time, lots of good divers and good competition. Who knows what willl win it. You could win with a 30 lber one year, or not even place with that same fish another year!! Last year, I believe a 29 lb yellowtail won the meet, but bigger fish were brought in late. (34 and 46 lb WSB) Good luck, Brandon

I would like to see the results.
OSB: Anyone (who wants to admit it) from the old days ever actully tasted one? I've often wondered. Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll go out for a night dive. "Honey! Can you grab me my C2 out of the garage!?"

1. Skip Hellen(wsb around 37-39#) 2. Mike Marsh(I think thats his last name)(wsb) 3. John Johnson(yellow) 4. Shamus Callahan(wsb) 5. Bill Earnst(yellow)
