Re: Makos, Barracudas, AJ's and Tarpon!!!

He shoots them because it is a legal fish to shoot. What do you not understand? In Louisiana there is no law against it. You wasting your time trying to change the ways of a coonass. Pick another battle.

Re: Makos, Barracudas, AJ's and Tarpon!!!

Fishermen lore from Southern Brazil goes that ten pounders are the mother-in-law's fish. And that tarpon is an overgrown ten pounder, therefore good only for mothers-in-law dinner parties

My grandfather, who was born in the Amazon, didn't enjoy much fish that I'd spear and give to him, like grouper. He always said his preferred salt water fish was tarpon. But, again, his favorite delicacy was tortoise eggs... As for fish, his preferred fresh water one was pirarucu, local name for the arapaima; which is in fact a very large catfish...

Re: Makos, Barracudas, AJ's and Tarpon!!!

Ok, Diveidiot, (excuse me, if I misspelled your name)

does anyone give a shit, that I am not going to eat the 60 lb. Amberjack?, I gave it away to my buddy, who is in turn going to give it away to someone else, I'm not going to eat the 42 lb. Barracuda, I gave it away to the democrats at Seabrook Bridge, and I shot a 38+ lb. Jack Crevalle, that I did use as crab bait, and YES I did go crabbing yesterday, at Seabrook Bridge and only caught a 1/2 hamper of crabs with that nasty ass Jack.

For all you self-rightous pricks out there, the TARPON was caught, by a TARPON FISHERMAN, notice the rods and reels on the boat, that's not my boat. And there he is after weighing the 150 lb. TARPON, going to the pass to either revive it, or release it.

We have more tarpon over here than we know what to do with, they need thinnin out. Furthermore, they are a public resource, and I am public.

I've attached more rod-n-reel kills for your enjoyment.
