I received words this afternoon that there will be an evening public comment session Oct. 20-22. This comes from a member of the I-team, and it apparently has the blessing of the BRTF so it's solid info.

There will also be a daytime session on specific agenda items.

This is good news as more of our people, who work daytime jobs, can attend. There should be no excuse--this is the last, and MOST CRITICAL, BRTF meeting.

God knows we could use the help with attendance. So this is good news. We want to plan attendance intelligently so we don't waste time and repeat ourselves but be able to cover our issues. And stay on top so that we won't have or encourage anyone to go off the handle, which doesn't help anyone.

Let's talk more at the joint kayakfishermen/spearo strategy session on Sept. 25, 7-9PM in Poway.

Do we know what day yet? I didn't see anything on the website yet. How close to the meeting do they usually decide when the comment is, I'd like to change the flyers and hit the public outreach hard the rest of the month.

Not yet Chris. We will have some official words by the end of the week, or at least that's what I was told over the phone.

Okay, we have it now.

Public comment will be all on Wednesday, Oct. 21. There will be two sessions. A day time session and an evening session.
