Carmel 6-6

went out at pt sobrones(sp?) 0900. bouy report was 8ft @9-10 sec.. when we swam out it was more like 10 every 8sec ...
got past the surf zone and dove for a while. wind picked up and both my friend and i started to get a little seasick. i was being scooted around 10ft or so by the surge and then lifted by the swell. it was like a big paint mixer. it seemed like the swell picked up and we decided to head in . no fish just the roughest water ive ever been in.
then we went to del monte and spent about an hour lookin for buts in 10-25 ft with less than 6ft viz. saw a couple small flatties. nothing to shoot at though.
hope this green clears up. nice to get wet anyway
