It's IMPORTANT for you to be there by 9am.

It really is important for you to be there. I mean...REALLY important. There is a lot to do, considering there is nothing much to do. I can honestly say, you are going to be a part of the battle to keep your rights, and you need to be there by 9am...

I should not have to tell you everything; I am just telling you.
See you at 8:50!!!

Re: It's IMPORTANT for you to be there by 9am.

if i only have time to show up around 100-115 and fill out a card to cede time, is that pointless?

my boss is coming to town early tomorrow AM through thursday and I could work in a lunch in long beach and a quick stop by to fill out a card to cede time to saltierdog, (as i'm pretty damned impressed with his idea and his results) but that's about it.

if it's pointless, i won't bother.

please advise.

addendum: there is nothing about the above question/post that is to be interpreted as being smart ass, sarcastic or in any way clever. just a simple question.

Show when you can. Every person there makes a difference. If you can show up at 9am, better for my agenda!!

showing up early is better - there will only be around 100 seats or so in the room. It is CRITICAL that we get up and fill the room. The piece of shit terd gobblers like racist Ray Hiemestra, Steve Nobuenovidos and Capt liar Mayhugh can wait outside.

The hot hippie chicks can sit on my lap.

I don't get out of school until 3:00. So I plan on going to the 7:00 session. Do I have to speak? What's this about a ceding card?

Just go right after school, thats fine. Basically everyone gets a certain amount of time to speak (tomorrow won't be more than 30 seconds) but you can give your time to someone else so that they have your time too.

Ok, I was really just wondering if I have to speak, or if I can sit and listen.

Nope, you can just sit and listen. Give someone your time though, we need it bad.

This will be my first mlpa meeting, so maybe i just don't know how these things tend to go, but this seems way overkill to me, no?

Oh, also, what's parking likely to be like? Anyone know?

Re: It's IMPORTANT for you to be there by 9am.

I showed up Monday to check out the room and the parking situation.. In wednesday's Event log book; we have the room from 11:30 on, and there is no other groups with the room before that. Parking is super easy. Just pull in the front of the Hilton where it says Valet, drive past the Valet and go under the Hilton on the right... press the button to grab a ticket and drive down to park. The lot is huge and is underground and monitored with cameras so hopefully no one will vandalize our cars like at the Carlsbad one. But just in case i pulled off my Spearing Stickers.

If you come up the elevator you can go to floor 2 or the lobby, and take the escalator to floor 2. (on your right as you go into the lobby) There is a directory printed daily as you come in. Or a big digital one on the wall. It should be easy to find the room for everyone.

Do you think my F-350 dually will fit in there? Usually have trouble fitting into, and getting out of most enclosed parking structures.
I would ride my motorcycle, but it has a broken mirror.
