Talking 1/30 Jax report

Went out yesterday with 4 shooters. Water painfully cold @ 50 degrees at RL. Went out a little further and found some 54 degree water. Saw a right whale and calf. Tried to get a photo but whale didnt want any part of it. We got 4 greys to 21 pounds, 2 small snaps and two lobster 8 1/2 + 6 pounds.

How was the vis, and curent? glad to see someone is getting to the fish.
Also, how deep were you diving.

We are going out of Ponce this weekend, and trying to figure out where to go.

Vis was about 25 feet with further being better. Vis @ 10 miles out was 10 feet. If you are going out of ponce I'd recommend SE and trying to find some 60 degree water. Got all the fish and bugs in 80 to 100 feet. 70 foot 50 degree stuff was non productive. Biggist thing I saw was a half froze 10" sea bass. Finally figured out how to use digital camera and posted a picture of the lobster. Hope this helps.
