Thank you! How far out in the Gulf would I need to go and in what direction from Vaca cut? Thanks for the advice on the spearing - I've got some numbers and a tow-behind for the reef - hopefully will find some muttons (love them!) and a black or two. I wonder if the bomb holes on the gulf side will produce any lobster - funny, but I think I'd rather take everyone on the Atlantic side for reef diving, spearing, perhaps find a few lobster, and then head out for dolphin and tuna fishing vs. wasting a lot of time on the Gulf side.
