Breathing Techniques
Looking to see if anyone has any tips to strengthen the lungs up? I have a dry breath hold of about 3:30 to 4 min....
I practice daily on my breathing, I start with a warm up of inhaling for 20 seconds through the nose, then hold for 20 seconds, then a slow exhale out the mouth for 20 seconds....I repeat this step 5 times.
Following I take a max rapid inhale through the nose then I exhale 50% of the breath rapidly out the mouth I repeat with a rapid inhale through the nose then exhale of 50% I follow this rapid session for a good min then I repeat several times....this helps to flood the body with oxygen....
Any other techniques or suggestions? I am unable to get past that 4 min mark and I want to be able to get myself to a wet breath hold of 3 or 4 min....
