Just went south of Paradise Cove today around 1600. Vis was around 3-4 feet. Water temp was high 60's. That new South swell was showing so the water was all turned up and the wind got onto it. Didn't see any fish

Dammit! This has been by far the worst summer for diving, IMO, I've ever seen in Malibu, in the 6+ years I've been diving consistently. It has really been pissing me off. Does anyone else concur?

Re: Malibu Conditions Permathread

I'll breath a little life into this again. Yesterday, back side of high tide, south Malibu. 8-12' viz on the reef. Opened up quite a bit more on the outside, but no reason for me to stay in the deeps as I was hunting with my little gun... the big boy gun is still in the shop from "The Soupfin Incident."
