Thumbs up Noob question

Ok, so I've been occasionally (read RARELY) gone freediving in between scuba trips. I hear mention of a waiting period between drops. Is there any sort of set rule, or guideline I should follow as far as breathing up (or down?) between descents for optimum safety? Profiles are mainly shallow stuff (<40').Thanx...

Re: Noob question

you guys i believe he is asking how long to wait to freedivie after you scubadive. I dont believe there is any set time. I think it would vary from diver ot diver. The idea is to freedive before you scuba dive. Then i wouldn't even freedive afterwards. This has been discussed quite a bit on here.
