La Jolla conditions

Looking to take my kayak out in La Jolla tomorrow 8/8. Anybody been out recently and can give a vis report? Thanks guys

Launched my kayak off Windansea yesterday morning (8/6) in hopes of diving the kelp but the tide was high and there was no canopy to tie off to, let alone dive on.

The vis also looked pretty bad.

I didnt get in.

Let us know how it is if you do make it out. At least the surf has been very minimal.

Keep your head up. There are still fish out there. Just have to find them.. whether visibility is bad or not is based on your outlook. When you spend most of your time diving 1-3ft visibility all of a sudden a 10ft visibility day becomes amazing and fish you weren't able to see previously start popping out of nowhere.
