El Consejo de Administración de la Confederación Mundial de Actividades Subacuáticas (CMAS) reunida en Roma el día 26 de enero de 2019, ha declinado a la Federación Italiana de Pesca Deportiva y Actividades Subacuáticas (FIPSAS) la organización del XXXII Campeonato Mundial de Pesca Submarina a pulmon libre. El campeonato se realizará en Arbatax Tortolì Cerdeña en fecha del 17 al 21 de septiembre de 2020.



Croacia organizara la Copa del Mundo de Clubes pescasubmarina a pulmón libre en 2020, según se acordo en la junta de la CMAS.
