Thanks Andrew.

Those wolf eels look angry at something.

Bill,

I guess this forum replaced the freedive list? Good to see you're still active spearfishing. I haven't been down your way for several years now. I've been doing winter diving and spearfishing in the US Virgin Islands. There are a lot of usvi videos on that same profile page on Travelistic.com - unfortunately most of them don't have any spearfishing. Great to her from you. I'll check in on this board from time to time.

Andrew-

The Freedivelist is still there but at a new address. Its not very active lately though.

I still fondly (maybe not) recall that trip when I took you and your son to San Clemente Island and then found that I had not brought along my wetsuit. And then of course my new fuel tank caused the fuel line to stop and kill the engine so that we had a very long and slow tow home by Vessel Assist.

Ah, the good old days.

Bill,

That was a few years ago. Steven was 15 at the time and we were headed down to Mexico to build some houses of the local folk. He is now 21 and working on a computer sciences degree. I certainly remember all of my trips on your boat with fondness. If I ever get down that way again, I'll look you up.

That looks like some cool territory to dive. Great videos. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Neah Bay, WA Videos uploaded

I am planning a trip there very soon. Everyone I have talked to tells me that it is impossible to free dive there? They also say that one must be crazy to dive with out a dry suit. I have been skeptical about all the info I have been getting, it also made it impossible to find a partner. Washington divers think free diving is for fool. I am happy to see that I am not alone to want to free dive Neha bay. Great video.

I will go this summer, and I will post stories from my trip.

You should contact Pablo. He is out of Seattle and one hell of a freediver.
Either way I'm sure its not easy diving, but impossible to freedive sounds like a good challenge to me.
I still remember all the scuba guys looking at me funny when I went to go freedive for some crab in Mukilteo a few years back. They weren’t laughing when I brought back my limit.

Re: Neah Bay, WA Videos uploaded

I just uploaded another Neah Bay video. There isn't any spearfishing in this one, but it has some great shots of Cape Flattery and Tatoosh Island where we often go spearfishing:

Here's another about spearfishing in the US Virgin Islands:
