Anyone go out today?
Did anyone try and go out today? Viz report? Was there debris in the water? Any fish around?

We went out. No debris. Lots of rollers and very choppy. Got to the bottom of the anchor line moved ten feet and couldn't find the anchor again. Turned around and came back in. It's been a bad year for me and diving.

I looked at the weather and definitely thought about it. There is typically the calm before and the calm after a major storm. We have gone many times after and have been met with exactly what you describe. Maybe it will settle down by this weekend. For sure next weekend. Bring a fishing pole!

Went out yesterday off Anclote in the 20-35’ range. Vis was ttb in some spots and no less than 20’ horizontal at any spots we hit. It was better on the AM incoming tide and the current was ripping out by early afternoon which decreased vis. Got our gags, hogs and a few mangos. Water temp 77ish.
