Yeah, I shoot a .223 ph and when I pulled the shaft out of him it was the bloodiest mess I've ever seen. I'm not super sketched out about sharks, but it was enough to make me think may be I should swim out of this cloud of blood before I reload! But yeah, definitely a blood bath, and the fish went to market.
