Mako GoPro Recoil Stabilizer + dive housing

ive been using the mako recoil stabilizer with my old regular dive housing with no problem. Now i have the GoPro flat lens dive housing. with the old housing i would use a zip tie for extra security.

does the same still apply for the flat lens housing?

thanks

Re: Mako GoPro Recoil Stabilizer + dive housing

Ill have to dig mine up at my shop. I have my personal one for cutting the lens kits i make for them but dont have one currently that I actually use. Ha, go figure, I dont have a full go pro housing for myself but i sell the crap out of them...

My go pro sits on my shelf with the desire to use it, just not the care to have to deal with it all...yeah im lazy, shoot me. lol.

I have to assemble a few over the next few days and post a photo for you on how i do it. You dont have to use a zip tie a good small rubber band like they use for lobster claws will work. Black electrical tape too.

Re: Mako GoPro Recoil Stabilizer + dive housing

I just use a rubberband instead of a zip tie so I don't have to cut the zip tie every time I want to get into the housing. And thats when I remember to even use a rubberband at all. Usually I don't even use one. But I also don't use the gopro on my gun, I use it on my mask.
