MMSI numbers and EPRIB question

How I register for MMSI numbers and register a eprib. Is there one way or another to get it done the cheapest way. Thanks in advance Bryan

I don’t think there is a fee to register an EPIRB

If you have Tow Boat Us you can call them and they will get you an MMSI # for free. If not,https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.wikih...Number%3famp=1

I have a mmsi number from tow boat and like diverik said it is free if you are a member. However from my understanding these are not fcc mmsi numbers and maybe for inshore only��*♂️? Also some vhf radios only allow you to input one mmsi number, so if you want to change from a tow boat number to fcc number the radio may need to be sent to the factory to reset it.
