Bv question

Just curious do people get in out by the tower often? Normally I get in by the viewing platform but bringing the fam so they can hang out on beach while I dive so wondering if hunting is better out there and are there any inherent hazards?

Thanks

Re: Bv question

Good morning,
Two considerations for diving by the tower, which can be a great dive. First, you will notice that at the tower the jetty starts building up, to what amounts to around an extra 15ft or so of boulders by the end of the parking area. That requires some thoughtful planning of a path to and from the water. It's easy to find yourself in a "can't get there from here" situation. And, the swell conditions are very sensitive to exactly the direction they are coming from, but as a rule they are significantly larger in that area.
Good luck!
