diving after 10pm ?
Most beaches close at 10pm, is there anything on diving after the beach is closed if enter the water from the beach shore and not off a boat? In example diving for lobster at night off the Corona DelMar beaches shore after closing. Thanks in advance.

just get in before 10 and your fine. cdm kinda sucks for bugs tho. once your in the water they cant deny you beach access and make you stay in the water, and once your in the water they have no jurisdiction to tell you to get out.

The 10pm curfue is for beach goers... Basically the beaches close at 10pm and so do the Life guards so by 1030pm no one is even around to tell you to leave. Heck Laguna stops enforcement at sundown in summer and like after 2pm in winter.
Most people that are on the beach after 10pm are doing illegal things, so the only problem you will have durring the summer is people calling the cops on you.

Thanks for the replies. A couple friends ands and I are new to spearfishing and wanted to check before we went around giving spearfishing a bad rep. Any suggestions on a good spot for beginners to hunt bugs?

Bugs(lobster) are um, like bugs... in the day If you find a hole that is dark they will almost always be in it and they come out at night... that should be all the info you need.
