Well, your off to a good start...i always give this example....You want to dive deep(er), well try the following, add two feet each month, no more, no less, if you are a 30ft diver then you are know a 55ft diver in one years time.... I can tell you the difference between 50ft and 100ft isnt ability, its confidence....the down side to being safe and improving your diving is that the only way i see it happening is diving in pairs.... you will catch less fish this way, mainly because you cover less ground....but it will do wonders for your diving, you wont be shy about staying that extra 5-10sec on the bottom.....one thing i will advise you to do is learn how to fish holes, look in every single one! start off real, real shallow...get good at being silent, and approaching the hole...You will be surprised how many huge grouper, snapper, lobster are hiding!

hey man, sorry for the late response, super busy!

it is hard for me to tell you what exactly could help you the most because I have not fished with you, and have no idea what kind of condition your are in. bit I can tell you that while freediving is mostly anaroebic(relying on glycogen) spearfishing is more of an interval based sport... have you ever had to swim against the current a few hundred feet to make a dive on a fish? the key is to be able to recover quikly, and last all day, so strong cardio is a must... there is alot of other areas that you can train in like static, and dynamic apnea, but really I do not feel safe handing out information that I am not sure you know how to use, nothing against you, but I have practiced many forms of training, and have suffered injuries because my own stupidity, lack of supervision, and really inexperiance....let me alittle about you, and how you fish...

We have to get lights like tomorrow or Friday. I don't know man, it was kinda eerie today in minimal viz. Can't imagine what its like at night. But the flounder would be well worth it.

It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.
