Hi spearq8, Thanks for advising on the shafts and recommendations on the slip-tip.
Addictions are pretty awesome and sturdy, however I only tried them on mid-sized yellowtails. I pair them with Mori slip-tip and they shoot more or less straight short distance.
Have you tried Lycan 120 as an alternative to Pathos 130?
Due to Lycan's heavier mass, it might outperform Pathos 130 on accuracy..However it will have a shorter rubber extension and shaft support by the barrel. What do you think?

    Hey Vlad,

Pathos 130 did not test well at all and I would skip it for now.

A 7mm shaft is a little thin for 160cm and probably should stick to 7.5mm if you plan on using an OB125. Maybe go 7.5mm and 8mm.

As for Addiction shafts, haven't tried them but heard a lot of good things. Personally I care a lot about shaft flight as I feel that gives you much better retained power (less velocity wasted in flight) and to do that you need a recessed flopper or cone in front of flopper. Not sure if Addiction spears do that. Consider slip tips ... for travel a slip tip means you need less shafts to carry around as one big fish can pretzel and trash even a 9mm floppered shaft. Also soft fleshed fish like Wahoo will tear out of any floppered shaft once they reach 30 kg+. Problem with slip tips has always been poor accuracy ... but check out my youtube video on sliptips ... this problem is solved!
