Thanks a lot. Catalina would be great. I grew up in LA and I learned to pole spear at Catalina. Now that I have a nice warm yamamoto suit, it will be even more enjoyable. I did not have a suit back then. Man, that water was cold!!

hey juan , long time no talk,any who im headed to you neck of the woods this weekend. if you wanna dive ill be in the campground site 8. havent talked to oflow in awhile, is he still on the island, hes my hook up for a yak, i cant believe how expensive it is to rent those things! swam to isthmus reef and bird rock last time which is stupid and way farther than it looks, deffinately gonna need some transplantation this time!

I should be making it (for real this time) out to your area with my scientific class from HSU (Rich is teaching) this Thanksgiving. Hopefully we'll have a day either before or after our trip for some non-bubble blowing fun. I'll be in touch.
Don't know the situation Juan, dont think I ever will. She had a good thing going for herself, feel bad for her. My family and a good group of friends will be out your way in August, staying for a week. If the yellowtail show up we should have a good time! Last year my buddy Tom and I just got into them when he got run over by a drunken sportie; took his floatline, spear and all. Lucky to be alive. We will be more cautious this year for sure, flags all over the place. Hope to meet you this summer, talk soon.
