Cool A day that could have been

There probably isn't anything more frustrating than having fish fight there way off your spear tip. The water has finally calmed down in the Palm Beaches, clarity was awesome and the fish were out.

Shot five nice snapper, and a grouper. But wouldn't you know it, only made it back with 2 snapper! The toughest loss was the grouper wriggling itself off the spear tip under the rock ledge.

Practice makes perfect.

Diving again tomorrow morning. Looking forward to a good day and better success.

Re: A day that could have been

My bands do need to be tightened. I watched a handful of snapper literally swim out of the way of my approaching spear! Saw a few good sized cubera, 17-25lb and a 2 black grouper around 15-17lbs.

I'll look into the slip tip.
