Bluewater: USS Bibb - top 30ft has about 20' vis / below 40' was 100'+ vis. Current was manageable.

Greenwater: Very milky. about 15' vis. Current was manageable.

Vis was HORRIBLE off Key Largo today dark green all the way to the reef we could barely see the bottom in 9 feet!!!!! Not looking good for the weekend.

vis has improved very much since I was out friday. i would guess 50ft at the reef around mm100

7/11/09 - visability was about 30-40 ft and the current was heavy on the duane this saturday. There was a bit of a thermocline, but not as bad as I had heard. Bottom temp was in the low 70s.

deep reef off molassas

top to bottom in 70ft, but the horizontal was only about 35-40ft

minimal current on the top, SMOKIN on the bottom


inshore of matecube we had 30 ft on the patch reefs

Alligator reef had 50ft vis in 15ft water, dive shop reported 80ft on Eagle.

Reef off of MM 73 35ft vis. big thermoclines cold & blue on top, warm and green underneath. Duck Key was similar.

Dove the Duane and conch vis was about 50' with light current temperature was about 74 deg....

June 12, 2010 Saturday.

Dove Spiegel Grove this morning Saturday June 12, 2010. Bottom current was only 1 knot, but top 20 feet of surface current was ripping 5-6 knots. Temps were 81 degrees and no thermo. Viz was over 80 feet and you could see the boats on the surface from the wreck deck.

Some dang big fish down there!!

came out of Indian Key fished in the near area water has about 60ft of visibility aqua in color kind of dirty but its giving me and advantage over the faster fish .

went out yesterday whole alligator reef area at about 30-60 ft was near 60 ft of vis still fishable just not the greatest ..

Speared on the 24th normal spots near alligator the water was black less than 10ft of vis navigated north on the light house about 6 miles water was cleaner with about 50ft of vis ..

Out off Alligator and Rocky Top...vis was 40feet yesterday. Was on Cheeca rocks today shooting photos and the vis was great...no spearfishing there though.
