Re: Colorado river?

Near Laughlin? I haven't camped there, but have friends who have kayaked down the river near there in the middle of the night on a bright moon. They highly recommended it, so I bet a camp trip there would be very cool.

Re: Colorado river?

The old hotel at Willow Beach is an interesting place to stay...attached restaurant has lots of trout pics on the walls...fun to rent an alum skiff and run up to Hoover Dam and drift down the river while snorkeling...just watch out when dropping into the big sinkholes..lots of sharp branches, mono fishing line and debris from washouts in those holes...google Colorado River/Hoover Dam camping spots...should pop up with some good stuff..
