Costa Rica- Tamarindo to Dominical

I'll be headed to Costa on Monday for a month of surfing and spearfishing.

My buddy and I will be starting from Tamarindo and backpacking down to Dominical. I just got Ray Odor's travel pole (excellent guy to buy from) and just wanted to know of any advice from y'all, especially since we will not have access to a boat (and looking for most economical options).

I realize there are a couple similar posts out there, but just wanted to get any/all help I could before heading down.

Thanks in advance,
B

Hello.

1st, you have to look for anything in Dominical here

or if you want infor about Uvita

2nd, In uvita you can rent a boat, there are many companies, ask in several and you can ask for a budget price.

Have a good trip!

Re: Costa Rica- Tamarindo to Dominical

Hi guys, I'm new to the board. Hope everyone is well! In a month or two, I'm moving to Costa from the states to help some kids learn about science and conservation. How is the spearing in Uvita? Do you have to go far to get out of preserved waters? Do I need a boating license to rent a boat? And most importantly, how is the spearfishing community there?!
