Re: Michael Burton Memorial Tournament
Huish Outdorrs has graciously doanted a lot of really great items. Here is the list.
1. Atomic Mask and snorkel. 2. Bare Mask and snorkel 3. 36" mesh duffle bag from Stahlsac 4. Signal tube from Zeagle System. I use a Atomic snorkel myself and love it. They are around $50 and are awesome! We are so grateful for all of the donations that continue to come it. I have another Big announcement tomorrow about a very big donation being made to the raffle. I have said it a few times but I hope everyone is saving their pennies for the raffle. |

Re: Michael Burton Memorial Tournament
Thanks, I just called Les Sage and he told me where it was too. I was hoping it was going to be at a Midwest lake since Michael was from the Midwest.

Re: Michael Burton Memorial Tournament
Is anybody making plaques for the top places? I have a carpentry shop, and I am willing to make some awards if someone will give me some info. I cannot make it out for the tournament because of class but I would like to help. I dive beaver lake and was really saddened by Michaels story.

Re: Michael Burton Memorial Tournament
Hey all!
So I know we are going to be briefed before the tournament starts at Cottonwood Marina etc. but i was just wondering what we are going for? Just Carp and Stripers right? Most weight? Combined? Single Biggest etc..? Also was wondering how the current is right now as I havent been up there in a month or so..Was trying to figure out if i should set up a boat rental or just bring my two yaks out. Just dont want to waste my energy and time trying to paddle up the river haha |

Re: Michael Burton Memorial Tournament
The farther you move from the dam, the less current there is. All the way down at Cottonwood cove I can't imagine there will be any current at all. My partner and I are headed down there next weekend to stash all the large frozen carp we shot last year at various spots along the river to ensure that we win the tournament. I will let you know if there is any current.
