Making the Trip Report Challenge Nomination Process Easier - Go for it!

Ok everyone - I spent six hours over the weekend going back through all threads in California and the Pacific Northwest board sections and assigning the "Trip Report Prefix" to threads. I will tackle the East Coast and International sections this week.

I also cleaned up the nomination thread by deleting those trip reports not qualified due to originating in the wrong time period. To try and improve this, I changed the rules a bit by adding the date of thread origination as follows:

Trip Report Thread Title: Repeat the exact title here.
URL: www.------.com - this must be clickable to get to the report.
Geographic Region: State one of the three regions in the rules.
Date of Trip report thread origination: - This date must be between 1-1-2011 to 3-31-2011.
Description: Briefly, what is the trip report about?
Reason for Nomination: Tell us why you think this trip report rocks!

So, here is how you search for qualifying trip reports:

1.) Go to the Forum you want to search like these links:

California Forum http://www.spearboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8

Pacific Northwest Forum http://www.spearboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=101

2.) Use the thread display function in the lower left corn with the following parameters and you will isolate the reports:







3.) That search should yeild a few pages of trip reports in California. But, make sure origination dates of the first posts of reports you nominate fall into the right qualifying time period which is between 1-1-2011 to 3-31-2011

4.) There are some great reports in that first quarter and I hope some more will get nominated.
