Description: Kevin braves the cold waters of New England to go spearfishing and test a new gun
Reason for Nomination: This was the ONLY trip report I could find in the New England section in the first quarter of the year. It has classic winning elements like the brevity of New England intellectual humor (aka "wit"), the sharp sense of humorous repartee between fascinating New England characters, and the irony (and brevity) of cold water spearing catches at that time of year.
