Ongoing video posts of My White Seabass Videos (and other fish...)
Hey guys,
I've been pretty fortunate to land some nice fish and figured I'd start a thread posting them. I'll try and upload one a week. Eventually I'd like to post up other species as well (when I do more travelling) but anyway I'll start off with this stoned shot. Some of you may have seen it already. Feel free to leave a comment. Or post your own video. Last edited by aussie; 07-06-2015 at 01:48 PM. |

Re: My White Seabass Videos (and other fish...)
Can you help out a newbee? I just started spearfishing (6x so far in LaPaz), got lucky and landed a 60lb+ Amberjack at El Bajito, got hooked on the sport, and am ready to try my favorite dive spot in the world: Southern Channel Islands. For white sea bass and yellowtail, what spear tips work best? What techniques do you use to land those fish? For Whites, it's just hanging out in the kelp with your head on a swivel?? For yellowtail, its blue water near reefs waiting and hoping?? Thanks in advance!!

Nice one Tanc!
What were you using, slip tip or power head? That was definitely a stone shot!

Mate! I was just thinking about you the other day. Shot with a roller gun. And you know us crazy Aussies. Flopper shafts only. 😉

Here's another video. Sometimes you're good, sometimes you're damn lucky. Dropped in on this White Seabass while performing a drop to the bottom.
