Re: Superbowl Pics

I'm hoping the final score is ridiculously high. 50+ for both teams by the 4th quarter or I'll be pissed...

48 45 saints. Its gonna be a high scoring game. I hope.

Ok, just to give you guys some insight, Mardi Gras started last night and THIS PLACE HAS GONE WILD!!!!

The people of New Orleans and surrounding areas are having so much fun, everyone is so cool with each other. This is how coonass country is supposed to be. Friend help friend. I luv it.

This community can withstand anything right now, we are on a roll!

Well, Rok, hope you guys are in the same if not better spirits tomorrow night. Not being sarcastic, I seriously do. Good luck.

I am really pulling for you guys Rok. A Super Bowl win is well deserved. I also have a financial interest in the game. I was in Vegas in Feb 2009 and I saw the Saints were 20 to 1 to win the Super Bowl. I put $20 on the Saints, a friend of mine put $25 on them and two other friends put $10 each on them. Thats a $1,300.00 win for our group if the Saints prevail. GO SAINTS!

I don't know how smart that was. I grew up with the Landrieu family. I still wouldn't have voted for him.

OK, I'll defer to you. All I know is what I hear on the radio, and he sounds decent from here. If nothing else, I thought it was sort of neat that a city with a big black majority could get by race and elect the first white mayor since his daddy. And just to be clear, I would have thought it was neat if a city with a big white majority could elect a black. It might mean voters were focused on something other than race.

But I sure don't know the local politics, and I didn't mean to divert this from important stuff like football into politics.

Awesome. Like Brees said, the whole country was behind the saints. Great win, congrats.

Commercials sucked though.
