Water Temp
Been monitoring the water temps in Cape May the entire month of February. The whole month the temp has been 3-7 degrees higher than the average of 37 degrees. The average for March is 42 degrees. Today's temp is 44.4 lets hope the water continues to be warmer than average, we may be diving the end of March/early April! http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/dsdt/cwtg/catl.html

46.2 at the cape may ferry right now, probably a few degrees cooler on the ocean side

cape may has all that warm water coming out of the delaware.
im gonna brave it in 2 weeks for winter flounder. |
