Went freediving off Clearwater a few days ago in 45fsw. 40ft viz.Went again yesterday 52fsw. Started out 40 ft viz. Got beat up all day as the wind report was off..again. With a good crew we still produced. The viz has been great for us lately.

Nice, looks like a good day over all. Does anyone have a better guess than the weather person about tomorrow morning around the NPR area

My guess - nice conditions, light 5 knot breeze, 2 feet or less seas, and smooth. Which is why me and the wife will be out! Just keep an eye on the thunderheads late in the afternoon.

Looks like it's going to be an excellent tomorrow. Sucks I can't go.

6/1
Vis off Anclote from 20-30fsw stinks. Barely shootable.

Water temps 81-2. I put the 3mm away for the summer.

I'm just jealous I missed a good weekend doing continuing ed BS for work. Pretty cool you ran into a school or mahi 40miles out. Good job. How was the vis?

Heading out about that far for a tourney next weekend.

Nice - heading out tomorrow but only 15 miles or so off NPR. Hope for some decent viz and no sharks - LOL.

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Seas looked calm out of Clearwater today. I missed the last few days reports though. Was it comparable to what it calls for tomorrow? I'd hate to drag the boat all the way from Orlando to Clearwater and find conditions are much worse than called for. Any help from anyone that's been out the last couple of days would be greatly appreciated. I've been out with a broken rib two months now and dying to get back in the water.
