Definitely close! When you shoot a fish that size, keep the camera in off mode. Don't waste the storage and certainly don't post it. DFW might see it and confiscate your gun and filets.

Regarding the post, the diver handled the situation just fine. Scary shit. But had that shark been in hunt mode, diver would have had no chance. That appeared to be a young, curious (not starving) white checking things out. He may have been behind diver for awhile prior to curiously sampling the fin. Poor vis and shallow water diver may not have even been looking behind him. Had that been a hungry white, first bite would have been mid torso and at high speed. Done.
