No not really (one small grey and the usual goliaths), but I did have my face towards the sand 80% of the time.

Re: Cubera - What the heck!

cool story

One band, free shaft on a big cubero and a kill

Calm collective thinking will usually pay off. Well placed!

Have you seen any Goliaths with 13 to 15th upper fin arrays missing?

Two out of the 40 transmitters Goliaths captured here, live off of ponce and travel here in August to spawn. Was thinking that perhaps you have seen other that do not have transmitter in them.

Great fish man, especialy free shafting. I really dig free shafting , it's really sporty, but ya gotta accept the fact you will lose a shaft now and then, just part of the game. Congrats on that beast!!!

Thanks Kenny...it's been a great journey, that just gets better & better.

I remember the first time I rolled over the side on the HeadHunter and looked like a bobbing turtle...it was back when I used to roll with air in my BC & I forgot to let it out as I watched Ricky descend. The most important thing I remember is...nobody laughed or even cracked a joke about it...at least when I was there ...thanks for being so gracious to the new-be!

No goliaths with transmitters Mike, but I did see Red snapper with transmitters recently. There are plenty of goliaths with none on them here.
