Out of JP 3/10/17
Took advantage of the calmer seas in between fronts. The north wind picked up sooner in the afternoon than expected. Seas were still nice at about a 1 foot chop. We were going to dive in about 70'. On the way out the water turned into a light blue in 50'. Decided to stop in 55' and check out the vis.. On the way down at 15' you could see the reef. Horz. vis.: a solid 30'. Water temp.: 66F. on the bottom. Stayed in the 55'-57' range. 3 dives were done. Plenty of nice size gags seen. One around 15# followed George up and down the ledge. Won't be like that come June 1. They get a open season memo. Brought home a couple of mangoes and a hog. No sharks seen. 1 big turtle seen .

We went out of Tarpon to 70ft an worked in to 45. Vis was great, you could see bottom from the boat in 45. Gags and red snapper all over 70. Also H&L and caught an ARS at a ledge in 45ft. Shallowest I've caught one.
